Unfortunately this year didn’t kick off to the ‘Great New Start’ we had all hoped for, and being back in lockdown has definitely taken its toll on many, but I hope you are managing to stay positive and coping ok.
Just in case you have not yet had a chance to read the 3 emails – yes 3 emails, which I must apologise for. Sometimes technical issues just get in the way so I apologise for having to send the email 3 times but happy to say 3rd time lucky the link worked. For those of you who have not yet read them here is a reminder.
I am now a Published Author as part of a Collaboration Book. When the world slowed down and totally changed our lives, many of us found ourselves with more time to fill than usual. One of the ways I spent my time was to link arms with a group of amazing women, all with their own journeys, all strangers to me when we met but not strangers now. Over the last 6 months, we have worked, cried, laughed, grown in our businesses and have written a book together.
It’s a book that will both empower and inspire you with each of our chapters sharing a time in our life experience that has made us who we are today. It shares the choices we have had to make and what happened when we made those choices.
The book is called, “It Starts With Me”, and I am over the moon to be able to share it with you. I don’t want to tell you too much, but I can tell you that My chapter in the book is all about breaking down barriers and facing challenges.

The pandemic isn’t only affecting us as adults, our children are being hugely impacted too, having to learn at home, with minimal social interaction, and much, much more; all things that could be having an adverse affect on them. This means it’s more important than ever to make sure our children have the right tools behind them to be able to not only cope with what is going on right now, but to also flourish in the future.
My Children’s Online Communicating With Confidence Course is designed to help with exactly this. Easy to follow, completed at home, at their own pace, no pressure, no competition, developing skills and giving them a great self-esteem boost as well supporting their mental health. I have also recently been contacted by a number of parents with children who are due to interview for new schools soon, and all of whom were concerned about how to prepare them. I happily shared with them the story of Jane, a girl who I helped last year prepare for her school interviews. I worked with Jane to help her understand the process she needed to follow, what to research, prepare and practice for, and by the end, her interviews went so well, she got accepted into both her first choices.
I’m pleased to say I now have a downloadable Children’s Interview Template to help with these same skills, meaning you can practice at home with your children, ensuring they are as prepared as can be and giving them the best chance to be successful in their interview.
