A Truly Special Evening at the Houses of Parliament
On Tuesday 24 March 2026, I had the honour of attending a very special evening at the Houses of Parliament, where Inspiring Indian Women celebrated their 10th anniversary alongside International Women’s Day with the Dharma Dubey Awards.
The event was hosted by Shivani Raja, and brought together an incredible group of individuals, including Virendra Sharma, Navendu Mishra, Suresh Kumar Gupta, Councillor Paul Lorber, and Warrant Officer Ashok Chauhan.
What stood out most was the room itself.
It was filled with women whose journeys speak of resilience, courage, and unwavering commitment. Each story was different, yet connected by a shared drive to make a meaningful impact.
From entrepreneurs and professionals to artists and changemakers, every woman present represented strength in action. Their work continues to inspire, uplift, and create opportunities for others.
I feel deeply grateful to have been recognised among them and to have received the Best Professional Award.
The IIW She Inspires – Dharma Dubey Special Award for Best Professional is a prestigious recognition presented by the Inspiring Indian Women (IIW) organisation. It honours remarkable women who have demonstrated exceptional resilience, change-making, and excellence in their professional fields.

Moments like this are a reminder of the power of community and the importance of celebrating one another, not just for achievements, but for the journeys behind them.
My sincere thanks to the Inspiring Indian Women team for creating such a powerful platform to recognise and celebrate women.
